this will unfortunately only be a short summary of my recent visit to Kathmandu. There will be a video published soon.
It has almost been two years since Binod and I have first met. I flew to Kathmandu in January this year to meet him, his guardians and the school management.
It happened to be winter vacations as I got there and no classes held in the first week of my stay actually allowed us to spend some quality time together.
We explored the neighbourhood together, had Lassis, played a whole lot of Badminton, visited Sites around Kathmandu on a Royal Enfield, bought some new clothes and Binod even thought me how to make Samosas.
His english skills have improved a lot and we were able to communicate about most things. He has turned into a very cheeky teenager with a great sense of humour.
He acts very helpful around the little restaurant that is run by his local guardians.
I am very proud of this brave boy and how he is dealing with his special situation of growing up without parents on his side.
I would like to thank everyone for their support.
